What to expect at Platja de Muro

Lots of space, shallow water, fine sand: Platja de Muro is the family classic in the north. The beach is split into four sections – from well equipped to completely natural.

Es Capellans is especially calm; Es Comú, at the far north end, is a protected dune area with no facilities. Behind the beach lies the S'Albufera Nature Park, Mallorca's largest wetland.

The bay opens to the east. With a Gregal or Llevant it gets choppy; with a westerly wind the water is often calm.
