Mallorca finca with pool
In short: Almost all of the more than 160 WOW FINCAS on Mallorca have a private pool that you don't have to share with anyone – ranging from 5 × 2 meters in an old-town patio to 20 × 10 meters with a pool bar. The largest pool is at Finca Voramar Real in Cala Sant Vicenç; about 15 houses have saltwater or chlorine-free pools, and three have a separate children's pool.
Having your own pool changes your daily routine surprisingly quickly. Breakfast. Pool. Maybe do something for a bit. Back to the pool.
But not all pools are created equal: For small children, a shallow entrance is key; for groups, it’s the length; for autumn guests, it’s the heating. Here is the honest overview.
The large pools
- Finca Voramar Real, Cala Sant Vicenç – around 20 × 10 m, kidney-shaped, with its own bar. For 12 guests.
- Ferienhaus Grandina, Ariany – 14 × 7 m, saltwater, children's pool. For 16.
- Ferienhaus Caridad, Consell – 13 × 5 m, saltwater, childproof fence. For 10.
- Finca Es Palmerar, Port de Pollença – 12 × 6 m. One meter of pool per guest. For 12.
- Finca Can Barretas, Pollença – 11 × 4.5 m, plus a play area. For 8.
Special pools
- Villa El Vila 133 – two pools on two levels, sea view.
- Villa Azul, Cala d’Or – heatable infinity pool with sea view.
- Stadthaus Magico, Búger – rooftop pool plus Jacuzzi.
- Finca Es Lledoner – pool with Roman steps, ideal for entering slowly.
- Finca Sa Quarterada – so shallow that even non-swimmers can stay relaxed.
Finding the right pool
With small children: Fincas with a children's pool. Without chlorine: Fincas with a saltwater pool. Outside of peak summer: Fincas in winter. Life jackets, baby floats, and pool toys are available for rent directly for your finca.
Frequently asked questions about fincas with a pool
Do all WOW FINCA properties have a private pool?
Almost all. Some houses near the beach and vacation apartments in Cala Sant Vicenç share a communal pool or rely on the beach right on their doorstep, and two country houses near Pollença deliberately do not have a pool. It is clearly stated for each finca what is available.
Which finca has the largest pool?
Finca Voramar Real in Cala Sant Vicenç with a pool of around 20 × 10 meters. Following that are Ferienhaus Grandina (14 × 7 m) and Ferienhaus Caridad (13 × 5 m).
Are there fincas with a heated pool?
Yes, for example, Villa Azul in Cala d’Or with a heatable infinity pool. Whether a pool can be heated is noted for each specific house.
How deep are the pools?
That varies greatly – from shallow basins for non-swimmers to over two meters. The depth is listed in the amenities for most houses; ask us if it is missing.
