In short: For autumn and winter, we at WOW FINCA have our own selection of houses with heating, a fireplace or a heated pool – such as the Stadthaus Magico (underfloor heating, Jacuzzi), the Villa Azul (heated infinity pool), the Casa Limones in Pollença (sauna), as well as Grandina, Caridad and Son Lluny with a fireplace for large groups. Mallorca in winter is not a beach holiday. It is something much stranger: quiet villages, clear air, empty hiking trails, almond blossoms – and an island that suddenly belongs to you.
Many holiday homes are built for summer. Stone houses remain cool in January, and an air conditioner does not make for a cozy evening. These houses work even when Mallorca is wearing a sweater.

What makes Mallorca special in winter

Yes, but not every house is available all year round. For winter, look for heating or a fireplace and check the availability in the finca’s calendar – or ask us.
Are there fincas with heated pools on Mallorca?
Yes, for example the Villa Azul in Cala d’Or with a heated infinity pool.
How warm is it on Mallorca in winter?
Often mild and sunny during the day, significantly cooler at night. Too cold for swimming in the sea, but ideal for hiking, cycling and excursions.
Is the finca cheaper in winter?
Usually yes, and the Ecotasa is also significantly lower in the low season from November to April.
