- 200 g Ground almonds
- 160 g Beet sugar or sugar labelled vegan
- 1000 ml Water
- 2 pinch Ground cinnamon
- 1 pc Lemon (for the juice)
How it works
- Heat the water with the sugar and cinnamon until the sugar has dissolved.
- Take off the heat, stir in the ground almonds and leave to cool for at least 1 hour so the almonds release their flavour.
- Blend everything very finely and stir in a squeeze of lemon juice. If you like it really smooth, pour it through a clean tea towel.
- Pour into a shallow dish and put it in the freezer. After 45 minutes, scrape through with a fork, then two or three more times every 30 minutes.
- Spoon into glasses and serve straight away.
