Gassi lives on a boat in Palma. Katja in Münster. At first, that sounds like a healthy amount of physical distance. But it doesn't help. Because as soon as Katja is in Mallorca and Gassi says, "I've found something," she's in. Usually before it's even been clarified what exactly he’s found. For WOW FINCA, this is perfect. We are currently building our new site and are looking all over Mallorca for the people, places, and services that make a really good finca holiday just a little bit better. Gassi looks around. Katja joins in. And we’ll see where it leads.

This time, it led into a limousine. Because we are looking for a chauffeur service for our guests: airport, Palma, restaurant, beach club, or simply for evenings when you know on the way there that "Who's driving back?" won't be a particularly good question later on. Gassi knew someone. Large limousine, chauffeur, room for eight, drinks, music. Sounded good. But at WOW FINCA, we don't want to recommend anything that we haven't vetted at least somewhat conscientiously.

So eight people had to fit inside.

Pure quality assurance. Gassi and Katja plus six other carefully selected specialists in sitting, drinking, and listening to music. The testing procedure was demanding: Get in. Check the drinks. Check the sound system. Check the sound system a bit more thoroughly. Check the vibe. Keep going. At some point, it wasn't entirely clear if we were still working. But that's exactly what a report is for in the end.

"For 20 euros more? Definitely the limo."
Gassi, when asked if the limo is worth it.

And then it got really interesting: To Cala d’Or, the limousine for eight people costs just under 200 euros, as of today (things can always change, please note our current prices). With two normal taxis for eight people, it would be about 180 euros, also as of today. For twenty euros more, everyone sits together, the drinks are chilled, the music is playing, and a taxi ride suddenly becomes the first part of the evening. That makes just under 25 euros per person, also as of today, it cannot be stressed enough. We briefly considered telling the provider that it is actually far too cheap. Of course, we didn't.

The current status at WOW FINCA: up and running.

The limousine service is ready to go. We have also found a wonderful winemaker in the meantime. And that is exactly how WOW FINCA is growing, piece by piece. We don't just want to write "Concierge" on the website and put a pretty list below it of things that are theoretically possible. We want to know the people behind them. We want to know what is actually good. And we want to try as much of it ourselves beforehand as possible. This brings with it certain professional burdens. Gassi already lives on a boat in Palma. Katja regularly comes over from Münster. And the next time Gassi says, "I've found something," we know pretty much exactly what will happen.

Katja says: "When?". We like the two of them.
